Kim Laama currently serves as Director of UX, spearheading the user experience team for AKQA’s New York office.
For the past three years, Kim has led UX and creative for the Audi account by developing innovative product and service experiences, such as the Audi A6 mobile campaign, Audiusa.com redesign, Audi’s Progressive Retail initiative and the launch of Audi’s new mobility service, Audi on demand. In addition to Audi, Kim has also worked with clients like Nike, Target, Xbox, Verizon and Visa.
Prior to joining AKQA, Kim was a lead user experience designer for various Bay Area startups, including Ticketfly, Twine and Blurb. In these roles, Kim was responsible for developing interface designs and multi-channel user experiences.
Recognized as a user experience leader within the industry, Kim has judged several award shows including the Clios and the One Show. She is also a board member and start-up mentor at Boulder Digital Works as well an active member of the UX Ad Council Board.
